Situated in the extreme northern part of the region, bordering with the Wakhan Corridor of Afghanistan and the Xinjiang region of China. Hunza is a mountainous valley in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan and is well known as the “Darling of tourists” in Pakistan.
The Hunza valley is situated at an elevation of 2,438 meters (7,999 feet). Most of the people of Hunza are Ismailis. The local language is Brushuski, although Urdu and English are also widely understood. From rugged snowclad mountain peaks to lush green meadows, Hunza welcome millions of domestic and foreign tourists every year.
Hunza consists of three major sub valleys, that are:
Breakfast at 7:30 am
Departure for Hunza valley via Karakorum highway
Stopover at Gilgit city after doing sightseeing of Nanga Parbat and junction point of 3 mountain ranges
Short stay at Rakaposhi view point for photography
Hotel check in at Hunza
Visit Eagles nest view point in the evening to enjoy the mesmerizing sunset
Dinner & night stay at Hunza
Note: In summers we will travel Via Babusar top instead of Bisham to reach Gilgit)
Breakfast at 7:30 am
Departure for Khunjrab pass
Stopover at Famous Atabad lake, Hunza tunnel, Gulmit, Passu cones, Sost, Khunjrab national park
After spending some time at Khunjrab border
Head back to Hunza for dinner & night stay
NOTE: China Border (Khunjrab pass) is only Accessible till December and opens up for tourists in April
Visit Baltit fort (600 years old) and Altit fort (800 years old)
Head towards Karimabad bazar
After sightseeing, continue journey towards Chilas
Dinner & night stay in Chilas
Breakfast at 8 am
Departure for Rawalpindi/Islamabad
