Swat valley is a cool heaven for tourists, home to the only Ski resort in Pakistan, located at a distance of 40 km from Mingora in the upper reaches of the valley.

The valley is surrounded by lush green hills, and thick forests and bestowed with mesmeric meadows and waterfalls which are worth seeing as features of the landscape. Mighty ranges of the Hindukush, the Karakoram and the Black Mountains, gentle slopes, placid plains, torrential streams…Malam Jabba offers unlimited sights to behold and cherish.

The area also contains two Buddhist Stupas and six monasteries that are scattered around the resort. The presence of the monuments at such a height indicates that the area has been inhabited for over 1800 years.

The summer temperatures of 10℃ to 25℃ give way to lush green meadows and thick green forests of Pine & Deodar trees. In the winter when the temperature falls from –5℃ to -10℃, the angel white snow makes it the ideal place for skiing.
